Since knowledge is power, you'd better pay attention to the knowledge provider's bias!

For an interesting example of media bias, compare how CNN treated Sarah Palin's religiosity with its current treatment of Barack Obama's proclamation of faith. Regarding Sarah Palin, CNN published an article intimating that Palin was a religious zealot who was trying to hide her religious extremism just to get elected. When Obama openly says he has listened to and heeded the beckon of God's spirit, CNN just reprints his words with no commentary.

I'm really worried about people who think any news organization or talk show host is giving them an unbiased report or analysis of events. It is essential that all realize that everyone has conscious and unconscious biases and then evaluate any information they receive in light of the source's apparent and probable biases.
