Might be interesting to note that these drinks are usually sweetened with HFCS these days. However, years ago I read an article which said that our body notices we are full in response to the calories we take in. Our body does count the calories in juice and milk, but not in soda. I dont think the study mentioned other sugary drinks, but I found that intersting . . . somehow, because there is no nutrients or fiber, our body doesnt notice the calories.
